Hi,

after two days I found out that in the scenario m0n0-cd 1.2b6 +
vmware 4.5.2 + windows xp it is neccesary to add the line

floppy.minVirtualTime = 100

to the .vmx file. Without this, the boot process took about 5 minutes
and configuration changes were not stored on floppy.
