I'd use something like 172.25.25.0/22. Most people don't seem to know
the 172.16.0.0/12 is private, or if they do they presume it's only
172.16.0.0/24 for some reason. That's my experience at least. Most
will be in 192.168/16 or 10./8, so using an odd 172.16/12 that doesn't
include 172.16.0.0/24 is probably as safe as you can get.
