Markus,

I would check the netmask suffix of the remote network for both endpoints.

A bad mask would possibly let you ping from m0n0 itself but not from 
local hosts...

Another thing. Just to be sure, I would go to the exec.php (hidden) page 
and try the folowing command:

ping -S <local_m0n0_LAN_IP> <remote_mOnO_LAN_IP>
