so I finally got around that problem with not being able to boot by 
using the tomsrtbt method of installation.  I boot successfully into 
m0n0wall 1.2b7 now from generic-pc image on hd, and get messages that 
pid 57 and 63 were killed because I'm out of swap space.  Any ideas?
