I have enabled the PPTP VPN server in m0n0wall (Build 1.11). The PPTP
server uses Windows Server 2003 for RADIUS authentication. The Windows
server also hosts an Exchange organization. Remote users connect to
m0n0wall PPTP server via the Windows XP VPN client (using default
settings).

 

I have defined a firewall rule that allows traffic from the PPTP
interface to any network on any protocols on any port.

 

What works:

Ping by IP

RDP

 

What doesn't work:

Ping by server name (NetBIOS name, for example), and consequently
Outlook connection to Exchange.

 

I need what isn't working to work. Any ideas where to start?
