I have a couple questions/issues in the system log file. I prepended each line with this symbol (-->>). m0n0wall appears to working ok...but this is on a broadband connection at home. I am not really sure why I am getting the errors, so I asking for help. The hardware/software: - m0n0wall beta 1.2b7 generic-pc loaded on CF card. - HP Brio model 200 - Celeron 500, 64mb ram - (2) Netgear FA310tx 10/100mb NIC's (this may be part of problem #3) - (1) CF Card Reader / 128mb CF memory - (1) CR-ROM 40x - On-board video - On-board audio (no settings in bios)(this may be part of problem #1) - (1) serial port - (1) parallel port (disabled in bios) - (1) USB (no settings in bios) Question & Thoughts - The bullets point to sections of the log below. -->>[1.] I am assuming FreeBSD is unable to assign a resource for a particular piece of hardware...like the on-board audio. -->>[2.] I saw the same error on another system I loaded with the identical CF Reader and Memory. Both systems appear to function ok despite the error emssage. I also came across an almost identical thread in the listserver where http://m0n0.ch/wall/list/?action=show_msg&actionargs[]=143&actionargs[]=35 with respect to "FAILURE - SETFEATURES SET TRANSFER MODE" and the <PNP0303> and <PNP0501> errors. -->>[3.] What I found on the net seemed to indicate a problem with the (dc) driver for Netgear FA310tx cards. I may have to change cards ?? I tried to research these errors but came up short. Any Help or suggestions would be appreciated. -Don System Log: Apr 7 07:35:22 m0n0wall syslogd: kernel boot file is /kernel Apr 7 07:35:22 m0n0wall kernel: Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
