Mmm.. anything that works, really. Just something, until it is at the 
point I can start getting picky :)

Me neither. I've heard of one Linux AP package that uses Open1x (IIRC) 
and it seems to be solid, as the rumor goes. I really don't know much 
about the topic, though.
