Why don't you use poptop (compiled with -DWITH_KERNPPP) and ppp as PPTP Server (VPN) on m0n0wall.
Poptop 's configuration files are as simple as mpd  and it will be easy to create/parse them.
Poptop+ppp doesn't have the well knowed XP packet loss problem.

Is just a proposal to bypass XP-packet loss problem.
If you find any mpd patch to fic this problem, please let me know.
