Note that the PCI card on the 48xx has up to 10W of combined 3.3V and 5V
power available, and
according to the manual, an onboard DC-DC converter supplies +12V @ 0.3A
and 12V @ 0.1A to the PCI connector.
The 45xx is a little different, as there is only 3W available on the
3.3V power pins, there is no power available on the +12V and 12V power
pins. and when using the DC Input Jack as the power source, only very
limited amount of power is available on the 5V pins, as the 5V is then
supplied by a linear regulator. The 45xx is keyed for 3.3V cards only. |
