There are 4 revisions of the 2602W according to the SMC site.

-000 (v1) uses the Prism chipset and should work fine
-025 (v2) uses some other chipset that I didn't immediately from scanning
through the driver
-121 (v2a) uses the same chipset as -025
-214 (v3) uses an AMD chipset and isn't supported AFIAK.

Hello all I was wondering if anyone has succesfully had m0n0wall use
an SMC 2602W wireless nic? I ordered this card for work based on
seeing it on the known to work hardware lists. I cant seem to get it
to work though. m0n0wall does not list it as an available interface in
both the web gui or console. Any suggestions on how to get this to
work? Anyone have this very same card working?  Did SMC change
chipsets on this possibly?

Model = SMC2602W
Part # = 99-012084-214
Sub Assy # =91-012084-214
