Ugo, While your situation might be different, I have made changes like this a number of times with success. I've had one config go from a regular pc CD-ROM setup, to a soekris board, to a wrap, and back to a different regular PC setup with different network cards. No problems. I'm using a cdrom/floppy setup. Is the change as easy as doing a backup on the old machine, shut down the old machine, boot up the new machine with the floppy and re-assign the NICS? I will be using 4 Intel pro/100 nics on the new machine, while I'm using 2 xl and 1 dc on the test machine.
