I just installed 1.1b7 on a machine with 32mb of ram and it kept telling me
it was out of swap space when assigning interfaces. I upped it to 48mb and
it seems to work.

Minimum requirement for m0n0wall is 64mb of ram now.  You could 
potentially install an older version on 32mb of ram, but might have 
issues with updating it later.
