 Subject:  Tested m0n0wall with Shellpack & SSH-Bear on net-4511

Hello all,

I tested Fred Mol's m0n0wall utils at http://www.xs4all.nl/~fredmol/m0n0/
on net4511 and want to report my experience here.

I installed on CF using the phydiskwrite.exe (0.5) on Windows. The
installation and operation worked flawlessly except my Senao
PC-Card/PCMCIA.

Thinks that worked well
-----------------------
- Basic m0n0wall setup with interface config, DHCP config, webGUI etc -
Could SSH to the net4511 w/o prob
- Senao Prism 2.5 mini-PCI card for 802.11b
- Soekris Hifn hardware VPN Accellerator loads (though not tested yet)

# less /var/log/dmesg.boot | grep hifn
hifn0 mem 0xa0002000-0xa0002fff,0xa0001000-0xa0001fff irq 11 at device
16.0 on pci0
hifn0: Hifn 7951, rev 0, 128KB sram, 193 sessions
#

Things that are not working
----------------------------
- Senao Prism 3.0 PCMCIA for 802.11b with
   1.1 Pri-FW
   1.5.4 Sec-FW

Does anyone have tips or pointers as to why my PCMCIA card doesn't work? My
dmesg.boot says:

# less /var/log/dmesg.boot | grep pccard
pccard0: <PC Card 16-bit bus (classic)> on pcic0
pccard: card inserted, slot 0
pccard: card removed, slot 0
pccard: card inserted, slot 0

Any tips appreciated.

Thank you
Toshiki
