 Subject:  Soekris 4511 w/ Netgate 2511 CD PLUS EXT2 (200mW) Wirelss Card
 Date:  Wed, 04 May 2005 16:48:11 -0400
I have searched the m0n0wall User Guide, which seems to omit all
paragraphs relative to "Wireless" configuration.

I then searched the m0n0wall List archive, back to 1/2005 and nothing
jumped out at me regarding the configuration of wirelss cards on the
Soekris Boards, so forgive my ignorance if this is a topic that gets
posted often on this list.

I Just purchased a Soekris 2511, downloaded and wrote "net45xx-1.11.img"
to a 128MB CF Card.
Everthings works fine.

I then Installed my Netgate 2511 CD Plus EXTs Wireless Card, Prism 2.5
chipset, and everything looks good after the m0n0wall boots.....

     LAN IP address:

     Port configuration:

     LAN   -> sis0
     WAN   -> sis1

m0n0wall console setup
1) Interfaces: assign network ports
2) Set up LAN IP address
3) Reset webGUI password
4) Reset to factory defaults
5) Reboot system

Enter a number:

If I choose Option 1, I can see my Wireless Interface as a valid Interface
available for configuration..

Enter a number: 1

Valid interfaces are:

sis0    00:00:24:c4:22:94
sis1    00:00:24:c4:22:95
wi0     00:02:6f:36:90:05

However, when I log into the WEB GUI interface, and attempt to configure
the Wireless Interface, there does not appear to be a wireless anything
available to configure.

If I click on "Wireless" under the "Status" the follwing message is

Status: Wireless

No supported wireless interfaces were found for status display

Can someone point me in the right direction to resolve this?

Sorry for the verbose post.
