Everything OK here so far: I've upgraded two 1.2b7 PCs (fxp & xl NICs) to 1.2b8 without problems. One is configured as a simple bridging firewall (LAN & OPT1), WAN unused. The other is configured with captive portal on OPT1, standard NAT on OPT1 & LAN, built-in PPTP & DHCP server, and a few inbound rules. No traffic shaping, OpenVPN, IPsec, etc. on either one. -klode P.S. OK, I meant "without problems" once I remembered to use the signed, compressed image, and not the uncompressed image I keep around for fresh installs via a live-bootable Linux CD (Knoppix or INSERT :-) Claude On 5/30/05, Goetz Goerisch <ggoerisch at gmx dot net> wrote: > > Hello Manuel, > > Yes we will see. > > Nevertheless, I have tried to reproduce it, so downgraded to 1.2b3 > and then again upgraded to b8. > The configuration was still in place, so this might was a one time > occurrence. > > Regards, > Goetz > > On May 30, 2005, at 9:48 PM, Manuel Kasper wrote: > > > On 30.05.05 21:40 +0200, Goetz Goerisch wrote: > > > > > >> I have upgrade to day form 1.2b3 to 1.2b8. > >> > >> After the flashing m0n0wall rebooted with factory defaults. > >> Is the a bug or a new feature? > >> > > > > Works for me...
