I might be wrong (long time since I setup one), but don't you have to assign the NIC's the first time you run m0n0wall?Otherwise, on a net4501, sis0 is LAN, sis1 is WAN. Default address is 192.168.1.1 /24. It can't be wrong to check the console sometime... Are you receiving a DHCP-assigned address on your client? The mOnO and client cards are compatible or you have a switch? (10 or 100 - half / full) Did you activate the DHCP server? Did you connect to the LAN NIC? You can always try to set a fixed address to your client, do eliminate the dhcp questions...
