goto exec.php and execute the following commands and reboot then

umount /cf
mount -rw /cf
mount
echo set kern.ipc.nmbclusters=32768 >> /cf/boot/loader.rc


i think 32768 is too much for your machine. it will eat about
64mb of your ram. 

i'm curious why don't you try traffic shaper first?
