I never had much luck with the xp ipsec. It could have just been me though... For ease of use I would recommend a client from netscreen or netgear. They are identical except for the little emblem and are fairly easy to configure and lock down. -----Original Message----- From: David L. I have m0n0wall/Soekris boxes set up at several locations and want to be able to VPN (IPSec not PPTP !!!) to the sites for support. In short ..... I have settled on using the native XP IPSec command ipseccmd.exe that comes w/ the "MS - Support Tools/Resource Kit" for ease of intergation on XP. My Question ..... Does anyone have ANY experience using "m0n0wall - Allow IPSec client" & the ipseccem.exe in a scripted manner? For my use and that of the clients I am supporting, I find it much easier to support and/or replace a WinXP shell cmd script than some other client. Summary ..... I have looked at the iVPN client (which shows GREAT promise, but not quite there yet, IMHO) and most of the other recommendations on the following post: http://m0n0.ch/wall/list/?action=show_msg&actionargs[]=24&actionargs[]=99 I am really looking for some interaction w/ someone who is using this client (MS native ipseccmd.exe) in a scripted manner. I am fairly proficient in Win32 shell scripting (though I hate to admit it) and feel this is the way to go until there is some forward movement (from either MS, iVPN, etc., etc.). Advanced thanks to all who might reply .... !! And of course ... Hats off, KUDOS!! to Manuel and the rest of the dev contributors/team !!! <> David L.
