Hi Chris,

The gateway on the wan is set to 192.168.2.200, which is the ip of the
dsl router. Sorry to be a pain, but im kinda new to all of this. Am I
missing some other setting / service which I have not enabled? 

By default, will lan traffic get internet access etc from wan with no
rules enabled?

what's the gateway on the WAN?  You planning on double NAT'ing, or
routing?  Ideally you'd want m0n0wall with the public IP, with the
modem just bridging, as that affords more flexibility.
