Hi Chris, The gateway on the wan is set to 192.168.2.200, which is the ip of the dsl router. Sorry to be a pain, but im kinda new to all of this. Am I missing some other setting / service which I have not enabled? By default, will lan traffic get internet access etc from wan with no rules enabled? -----Original Message----- From: Chris Buechler [mailto:cbuechler at gmail dot com] Sent: Monday, 20 June 2005 12:50 Cc: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: Re: [m0n0wall] help with setup of m0no and external dsl router On 6/19/05, Jared Patterson (DSL AK) <JaredP at datacom dot co dot nz> wrote: > > I have a network setup where theres a dsl router which has its own ip > address, and provides internet to the lan. Ideally you'd want m0n0wall with the public IP, with the modem just bridging, as that affords more flexibility. -Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch |
