Exactly what I was thinking. On some customer sites we have a scenario where they have an expensive leased 256k line that is reliable as well as a cable/dsl line that is quite speedy but goes down occationally. It would be nice to put both of these into the m0n0wall and, say, direct web browsing traffic, or traffic from non-critical users, across the cable/dsl line while critical traffic goes to the 256k line. The routing table shouldn't be large, as it would say basically "these Ips/ports go to this gateway, everything else go to the other" Josh Simoneau Trampoline Administrator -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Foster [mailto:dan at melbourne dot co dot uk] Sent: Friday, June 24, 2005 1:11 PM To: Michael Sierchio; m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: RE: [m0n0wall] Dual WAN Ports If you wanted to send certain traffic out of a specific port you can just setup a route to that effect, I doubt the routing table would consume very much memory at all, unless you had thousands of them, but you're hardly going to manually add many routes or the admin would become a nightmare! | -----Original Message----- | From: Michael Sierchio [mailto:kudzu at tenebras dot com] | Sent: 24 June 2005 18:09 | To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch | Subject: Re: [m0n0wall] Dual WAN Ports | | Josh Simoneau wrote: | > Any word on having two WAN ports without using any sort of load | > balancing or fail over?
