Personally, and with a changelog reference too ;-)
http://www.m0n0.ch/wall/changelog.php - it was fixed in 1.1b17 with the
fixed IRQ handling in the sis driver.

No idea - I haven't ever played with a 1411.  Someone else will have to
reply there.
