The driver should be the same one that is used on nForce2 onboard LAN ports, I'd think. Don't know if those are supported in BSD 4 or 5 (or 6) yet though. --Braden -----Original Message----- From: Chris Buechler [mailto:cbuechler at gmail dot com] Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 5:53 PM Cc: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: Re: [m0n0wall] GA-K8NS on-board ethernet port On 7/8/05, Vijay Nori <vijay underscore nori at yahoo dot com> wrote: > m0n0wall v1.2b9 > > machine: mobo GA-K8NS (http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard/Products/Products_GA-K8NS.htm) > mobo has a 10/100 n/w port on it that card doesn't appear to be supported by FreeBSD (not in 4.x for sure, probably is in 5.x or 6.x). One way to try to see would be to boot up the pfsense live CD (pfsense.org) and see if it detects and works with it. It's based on FreeBSD 6. Or could try m0n0wall 1.2b7, which is 5.x. -Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch |
