Thanks for the quick reply. I have Dynamic DSL (no Static IP) which in result I have enabled DHCP and Dynamic IP on my M0N0WALL. This firewall is located in my house and I am trying to access my outside server via VPN connection. There's no server on my house so basically is like: DSL-->M0N0WALL-->LAN. From my LAN I would like to access to my VPN server. How can I let this traffic to go out from my LAN to WAN? Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks very much, Mike ________________________________ From: Chris Buechler [mailto:cbuechler at gmail dot com] Sent: Fri 7/22/2005 2:31 PM Cc: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: Re: [m0n0wall] Access to VPN in a Dynamic Lan On 7/22/05, Mike Razavi <mike at havepc dot com> wrote: > My M0N0WALL is behind my Dynamic DSL and won't let me access to my outside's server via VPN. Sounds like maybe you have a private IP on the WAN of your m0n0wall and your VPN traffic gets torn up because it's getting NAT'ed twice, but with the above description, who knows... What kind of VPN? Is your m0n0wall WAN IP private? VPN connecting from your LAN outbound or from the Internet in? -Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch |
