You'll probably find that it's a place for soldering more video ram, or maybe where the on-board sound chips go. Don't worry about the missing chips... Most motherboards would have such spaces somewhere on them. If the machine is reliable then go ahead and use it. -----Original Message----- From: Radu ANGHEL [mailto:anro at b dot astral dot ro] Sent: Sunday, 21 August 2005 6:29 a.m. To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: [m0n0wall] deffective Compaq Deskpro EN6350 Hello, I have a compaq deskpro EN 6350 SFF (board no.010602-001 rev a)looking like: http://www.m0n0.ch/wall/gallery/goran_samuelsson/my-m0n0wall.jpg and http://www.m0n0.com/wall/gallery/marc-andre_alpers/IMAG0109.jpg It is a PII/PIII, slot 1, BX with ati rage video chip and intel onboard net card.
