It uses a web-based GUI to configure the webserver, mail server, DNS server, 
samba server, etc.  I haven't personally used it, but I've heard good

Everybody is answering with alternative firewalls, while I don't think
that's what you're after.

I don't know of any easy setup/configuration distros for something
like running a web server, but webmin might be a suitable GUI for you
for Apache management.
