Hi Folks, I'm using m0n0wall 1.2b9 with 3x 3c905 NICs. One is assigned for WAN (PPPoE, dynamic IP), one for the LAN segment (192.168.0.1) and one as OPT1 (192.168.10.1) with a WLAN Accesspoint (Cisco Aironet 340, 192.168.10.100) attached to the NIC. So far, almost everything works. Almost. I can't ping the AP via LAN ( trying it from my desktop at 192.168.0.10 ) Well, might not be that important if it was only for ping, but i'd like to access the Cisco WebGUI via LAN, at least with my desktop pc, which does not work. I can ping the AP from the m0nowall ping utility. I can ping OPT1 from LAN. But i can't ping the AP from the LAN. I have deleted all my firewall rules and put 'allow everything from/to' rules on the LAN and OPT1 interfaces for testing purposes. Won't work. LAN 192.168.0.1 OPT1 192.168.10.1 AP 192.168.10.100 (connected to OPT1) ping from LAN to m0n0 at 192.168.0.1 OK ping from LAN to m0n0 at 192.168.10.1 OK ping from m0n0wall to 192.168.10.100 OK ping from LAN to 192.168.10.100 ARGH! What am i doing wrong? Any help appreciated, this is driving me nuts. Thanks, Matthias |
