Ervin - I have a Linksys WRT54GS hanging off the OPT1 port on a Soekris 4801. I had to bridge the OPT1 port to the LAN port to get it to work. But I did try the separate subnets and did a static route between the two areas but when I would submit it in the m0n0wall software, it would lock up the unit. So I got frustrated and just bridged the two together. I have since also upgraded the unit to 1.2b9 and it runs much better. If you get it working let me know. I cannot access the AP connected at OPT1 from a PC connected from LAN. I want to do this so I can administer Linksys AP's settings from an admin PC connected under LAN. LAN has address 192.168.101.x / 255.255.255.0 <http://255.255.255.0> OPT1 has address 192.168.100.x / 255.255.255.0 <http://255.255.255.0> Linksys APs are at WDS mode with consecutive Static IPs of 192.168.100.31<http://192.168.100.31>and 192.168.100.32 <http://192.168.100.32> I can access the Linksys APs from WLAN clients (OPT1) but i want to restrict this from happening, instead LAN clients should be the one to administer the AP. How can I do this? Thank you for any help you can extend! |
