Well a lot of people voiced concern about that because they are using
open vpn, I for one use it and would have to stay beta if that were to
happen.  Since that post there was a lot of talk about the open VPN bugs
and fixes found for others.  I hope to see it stay.

it looks like OpenVPN will be gone in the next version, so hopefully the

new release will happen soon.
