Just got off the phone with Verizon again...NOW they are saying to shut the modem off for 2 hours so
that their servers will release the MAC address on their end. Of course level 1 tech that answered
was a know it all and wouldn't pass me on to a level 3. He said he would go and ask a level 3 tech.
He came back with the advise to shut down the modem for 2 hours.
