I don't believe you will find support for that board and USB booting,
you will probably waste more time trying to find a way to do it than its
worth.  You can do a IDE/CF setup for under 25$ I believe USB booting is
a chipset feature not just a bios feature.

does anyone know if i can still boot from a usb stick, when theres no 
support for booting from usb in the bios?
I am having an asus p2b, that i want to convert to router, without hd, 
so its nice and quiet
