Did you read this stuff from below? Well, you cited it. > >> We have a perfect web-forum already - this mailing list is archived on >> the >> web, and any decent mailer supports filing emails into folders >> automatically. not only. almost any mail client except the dreaded webmailers supports threaded view! So you have your topic. Just try it out, download thunderbird and have a look. Use kmail. Or even just take outlook 98 (yes, it can do!) and sort by discussion theme (it's tricky stuff, thou)! Maybe that is also a reason to recall the old chant: Please folks: start a new thread on the mailing list with a blank email. Do **** not ***** reply to just about some post. Your posting will go down the drain most liekly. Then, if answering to any post, please press "answer all" - this 'll keep the thread alive. You just change the topic in midst the discussion. I agree on the things said for x-postings from webforum to list: if they appear without realname - they will all likely go plonk with most the people who do the oldtimer email stuffu. the m0n0 list is kind of very susceptible to this stuff. ´nuff rants now, i'll go to bed.
