Hi,

Do you need to setup pipes, queues and rules to shape incoming data on 
the WAN connection?

Does setting up these rules have any actual effect on the performance of 
the connection?

 >From what I have read here on shaping most people think it has little 
effect as you can not control
what is being sent to you from your ISP.  However they all seem to setup 
incoming shaping rules.

Any help would be appreciated.
