With the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows (http://www.ubcd4win.com/index.htm), I booted the target
computer from the CD into Windows XP with a USB Key with the phydiskwrite.exe and monowall image
file attached to the computer.  The UBCD regonizes the USB key and the target IDE hard drive.  I
could then run phydiskwrite.exe are normally.  
 
I used to put the target HD in another Windows computer to install monowall to the HD.
