When you change something (yes it holds an XML config file) it needs the
floppy.

You can take it out if you want, but when you want to change something,
you'll have to put it back in.

Since my box is booting from CD and reading config from a diskette, is

needed to leave the diskette in the diskdrive ? Is the diskette only
holding configuration files ?
