I actually was referring to loopback like cisco does (its not 127.0.0.0/8 loopback) but some configurable no changing interface ip J. -- Jonathan De Graeve Network/System Administrator Imelda vzw Informatica Dienst 015/50.52.98 Jonathan dot de dot graeve at imelda dot be -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Bernie O'Connor [mailto:Bernie dot OConnor at sas dot com] Verzonden: donderdag 20 oktober 2005 22:18 Aan: Jonathan De Graeve Onderwerp: RE: [m0n0wall-dev] RADIUS Question: Nas-Ip-Address I prefer you don't send a loopback address. I vote for either WAN, user configurable, or not at all. I suspect the WAN interface to most often be used to contact a NAS device (like a radius server). bernie -----Original Message----- From: Jonathan De Graeve [mailto:Jonathan dot De dot Graeve at imelda dot be] Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2005 2:35 PM To: m0n0wall; m0n0wall dash dev at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: [m0n0wall-dev] RADIUS Question: Nas-Ip-Address What should be the value of this attribute? Should it be the wan, lan or any other value? It currently isn't present in M0n0wall 1.2 and some users seem to need it.... I personally would prefer a static var like the ip of a 'loopback' device. What do users think?
