Upgrade from 1.11 to 1.2

I'm thinking about upgrading my soekris m0n0wall box from 1.11 to 1.2.
Is that a pretty safe upgrade? Will all of my settings remain in place?
Does the webGUI "firmware" upgrade feature do the trick?

Just some simple questions I know, but I wanted to verify it with
someone that has actually done it before.
