I've never done it before, but I imagine it's possible with a three
interface box.. (I don't think you can remove the WAN interface from
Monowall.) The WAN interface would need to be left empty, but the other two
interfaces could be set to bridge...

Subject: [m0n0wall] IPless firewall?

Hello all. I have a very large network that cannot be changed. One
segment of our network comes in from another bussiness unit and is
unsecured. Since the network cannot be changed I'd like to put in a
filtering bridge. Can I use m0n0wall to do this?

Before:

+------+ +------+
| core |----------------| unit |
+------+ +------+

After:

+------+ +----------+ +------+
| core |-----| m0n0 |------------| unit |
+------+ +----------+ +------+

Thanks!
