As you are aware, m0n0 cannot do this currently.  But you might like to
look into pfsense (some might call it m0n0's big brother), as it
supports multiple WAN connections provided one of them is static IP or
DHCP, which should/might work for you on your cable connection? (Set up
the SDSL as pppoe and you should be away).

pfsense has a gateway option for each interface so routing should not be
an issue.
