Given this last response; do you guys still want me to do the testing with 1.21? I haven't had a chance to play with 1.21 yet, I have that slated up for next weekend.. :) -OT- I am also in the process of setting up a RADIUS server to authenticate both wireless clients, then authenticate again to allow internet access. Some clients/MACs will be allowed wireless authentication, but not allowed internet access.... and I want this all integrated into the 2003 AD domain, with the MS CA server, etc.... this shouldn't be too hard. All machines are already auto-enrolling correctlly with the CA for machine certificates. -j On 1/6/06, Stephen McCormick <sdmcc at ihug dot co dot nz> wrote: > > > FYI > I cross flashed my WRT54G from Freeman 1.0.4 to DD-WRT v23 > and upgraded m0n0 back to 1.21 (from 1.2) and captive portal works once > again. > > It just seemed strange to me that I had no captive portal problems > with any m0n0 version up and including 1.2 with any Sveasoft based > firmware, > as opposed to a number of other people who were... > > The DD-WRT firmware is a fork off the Sveasoft Alchemy firmware, so I can > only assume that something went wrong when Sveasoft created the (latest?) > Talisman version of their firmware. > > Thanks for all the help............. > > Stephen McCormick > SDM Consulting Ltd > Auckland > New Zealand > > -----Original Message----- > From: A dot L dot M dot Buxey at lboro dot ac dot uk [mailto:A dot L dot M dot Buxey at lboro dot ac dot uk] > Sent: Friday, 6 January 2006 10:24 a.m. > To: Jimmy Bones (Mhottie) > Cc: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch > Subject: Re: [m0n0wall] Monowall 1.21 Captive portal and WRT54G wireless > router MAC Problem > > Hi, > > > Per previous thread, I did take some time this weekend to test this > issue > > briefly. > > as per other message - this with 1.21 would be interesting > > alan > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch > For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch > For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch > > |
