The short answer, actually, is YES.
The only problem - you won't have these IP's in the web interface, so 
you won't have an easy
and nice tool to manipulate these addresses and related rules. But 
usually you don't really need it.

P.S. Add eliases with /exec.php (<shellcmd> entry in the <system> part 
of config file)
