Passive FTP Solution (Kind of) / Firefox still does not work.

Has anyone noticed that Firefox will not connect using the standard  
ftp://ftpname:ftppass at ftphost dot domain dot com? I have followed the  
excellent Twiki article here on how to get FTP working like a champ:

But still, everything is great - Firefox still flakes on us. Has  
anyone else seen this happen, does anyone else care??
