Subject:  VMware Server is now free, replaces GSX server
 Date:  Thu, 9 Feb 2006 16:11:23 -0800
Just a heads up to everyone, for those of you especially who either run
m0n0wall in a VMware virtual machine, or those of you who test it in that
environment.

VMware GSX is being replaced by "VMware Server", which has a superset of the
functionality of GSX. VMware Server is also FREE, and currently in Beta. I
also supports Virtual SMP (if your host is SMP, then your virtual machines
can be uniprocessor or SMP)

Also, if you run FreeBSD 6 in VMWare Server (maybe FreeBSD 5 as well), you
will have to modify the kernel with:

           options CPU_DISABLE_CMPXCHG

Otherwise you'll get excessive CPU interrupts.
