Are you using the Chinese CF card brand (BiWin or something, yellow
label) that PC Engines (used to?) sell? I've had reports of these
cards suddenly experiencing bad blocks before, and have also
experienced the problem myself once. Not sure if it's
m0n0wall/FreeBSD related, but I've never heard of such things with
established brands like SanDisk.
