Hi again,
I installed a syslog server on my windows machine, I hope it can give news on the 2 next weeks
I speak with a friend and I have 3 m0n0 working in a large wireless network. 1 of the box, is
connect to an adsl modem, and have the luckups every tow weeks. the others boxes use a static ip on
the wan, and the luckups don't ocure. Do you think it can be a problem with the PPOE client of m0n0?
Excuse me english, but I like m0n0 and I like to find the cause of the problem.
regards, controlaltdel.

My WAN connection is "always on" - direct Ethernet connection to a media
converter with fiber connection to ISP. I am running the generic PC image.

I was having similar issues - my units would lock up after 6-12 days of
usage. I did some thermal management (added fans and blocked off air flow
to make it go where I wanted). I was using onboard RealTek NICs and changed
those out with the same board but Intel NICs. I also put in a good quality
RAM. Since then I have not had any issues - I am up to 20 days now (best
I've seen for a while).
I'm not sure if my problem was all heat or combination of heat and RealTek
or what.
