Hi Christoph Only with the internal IP-Address, yes. If I ping with co00s200.orthotop.ch I get the IP-Address from outside. I configure an dns-server in my m0n0Wall like 195.168.1.110. Maybe I just have to use the standart IP-Adress from my ISP. What You mean? ________________________________ Von: Christoph Hanle [mailto:christoph dot hanle at leinpfad dot de] Gesendet: So 26.02.2006 15:29 An: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Betreff: Re: [m0n0wall] Pinging to a local host getting ipadress from internet Simon Vetterli schrieb: > Hi > > I have the follow problem: > > When I am connect to the network over PPTP/VPN, it's working without a > problem now. > > My problem is, when I like to ping a host in this network; eg. > Co00s300.orthotop.ch then I get > Some answer, but it's the ip-adress from outside, from the mail/webserver > outside... > > What could be it? > Is the server pingable with his internal IP ?
