hiding SSID (i.e disabling SSID info in AP beacons) is not a good security
practice. Even though it is not in beacons the SSIDs is in data frames and
can still be seen by many wireless site survey and sniffing tools.

I believe even Windows XP can find hidden SSIDs after it sees data frames.
