MONO box has 3 NICs. xl0 is LAN, xl1 is WAN and ep0 is for external hw watchdog, ep0 is connected to switch where is connected xl0 and ethernet output of external hw watchdog also. Rule in monowall is set such, that permit ICMP packets from subnet of watchdog-ep0. xl0 is 192.168.202.xxx and watchdog subnet is 192.168.10.xxx. I had something similar once when a wireless interface (wi0) in my m0n0wall box associated with an access point on my LAN (xl0) It might help your diagnosis if you write down the MAC addresses for 192.168.202.220 .223 .4 and .5 Basically these messages are your firewall saying "All these addresses should be on my xl0 port (according to my config) but I keep receiving packets on my ep0 from them." -----Original Message----- From: Robo.K.
