Soekris WAN port link light but M0n0wall says interface down

Anyone seen this?

We had a working prototype setup with a generic PC and 3 interfaces (LAN
unused, WAN, OPT1). I transferred over the config to the Soekris box,
plugged each cable into the respective port on the Soekris box, and powered
it up. The link lights come on, but the interface status in monowall says
WAN port down.

We are running the 45xx v1.22 version of Monowall on the 4502 Soekris (I
believe, it was the one with the empty CF card, 3 ethernet ports, and 64 MB
RAM.)
