I'm using a VIA MiniITX IPIA V1000 motherboard using a Compact flash to IDE 
adapter (Master) and a single Hitachi 120GB Disk (Slave).

As this board only has a single IDE port I was thinking of moving to a USB 
flash disk for the boot image.
