Do you have a rule allow from lan to dmz telnet ?
Remember you can not acces from lan to dmz with a external natted ip, except
you modify the override dns for your lan side.

Subject: [m0n0wall] mailserver

hi all,

i have 2 mailservers - one in my LAN and one in my DMZ. with my
firewallsettings I cannot telnet from the LAN server to the DMZ server's
public IP. any idea on that? in the lan I have the rule:

TCP exchange(lan) * exchange(dmz) 25 (SMTP)

thanks

joe
